The Winbridge Group, Inc. is composed of experienced professionals who are specialists in Corporate Development Counseling and Implementation.  Our focus is on working with clients engaged in Industrial, Defense and HealthCare products and services.   The particular services we provide in partnership with our clients' top management teams' include:

Our style is to work in close partnership with the top management of our client organizations.  Where appropriate, we engage our client teams in a creative workshop format.  The workshops provide the proper atmosphere, proprietary techniques and guidance to the group of decision makers who will take the responsibility for the results of the implementation.

Our  location in the Greater Boston area puts us at the center of a wide range or human and technical resources.  Our engagement teams are selected the basis of the needs of our particular clients and the issues to be covered.  Our Group is composed of a set of well experienced industry, technology and functional specialists who combine their talents to augment those available in our clients' organizations.  Many of our clients are European firms seeking to grow and develop their U.S. businesses.  We have European affiliates.  Our work has resulted in acquisitions, divestments,  joint ventures and strategic partnerships between U.S. and European companies.

The founder and President of The Winbridge Group, Inc. is Anthony J. Marolda.  Mr. Marolda has been a professional management consultant for over forty years and his direct experience in this field includes working with numerous clients to develop corporate and business unit strategies, identify and acquire strategic acquisitions and divest products or technologies that no longer fit the corporate goals of our clients.  Mr. Marolda has been quoted on corporate development issues in many business periodicals such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week and U.S. News and World Reports.  His articles on corporate development issues have been published in magazines such as Electronic Business and Boardroom Reports.   Mr. Marolda has contributed chapters on diversification, mergers and acquisitions in McGraw-Hill handbooks including The Handbook of Modern Marketing (1986 edition) and The Handbook of Business Problem Solving (1980).    He also contributed a chapter, "Commercializing Defense Technology: The Key Success Factors" to Regional Resilience and Defense Conversion, a book published in December 1997 by JAI Press (now Elsevier).

Mr. Marolda is the author of "The Inventor and the Inventor's Son", a biography of two nineteenth century inventors, father and son.  The father, Isaac Adams, Sr., was the inventor of the first powered printing press for fine book printing.  His son, Dr. Isaac Adams, Jr., was the sole inventor of the nickel plating process.  The book delves into the family and cultural forces that led two men to become highly successful inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs and businessmen.   He is also the author of three, historical adventure novels available on Amazon.com.

Mr. Marolda is listed in the 1994-2013 editions of Marquis Who's Who in America.   He had fifteen years of experience in management consulting with Arthur D. Little, Inc. where he founded the company's Corporate Development Counseling Unit.  Later he was Vice President and head of the Management Counseling Section of Arthur D. Little, Inc..  He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in physics from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.  Prior to attending Business School, he worked several years as an R&D physicist in Boston area companies.  He received US patent (No. 3,321,919) for a plasma generating device with an application as an Ion Propulsion Engine for deep space applications.

In 2008, Mr. Marolda was licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard as a Master (Captain), and is a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer.
